FanxFunxGift Akira Ver 1 (1)
Akira: Producer, do you have a minute?
Producer: Mitsurugi-kun. What is it?
Akira: I’d like you to help me look for some sheet music, if you’ve got the time.
Producer: Sheet music? …I guess we should go to the school library, then. Give me just a second.
Producer: This is the sheet music section, but… Why exactly did you want to go looking for some all of a sudden?

Akira: We’ve got a solo segment coming up for our next event. You know, the one meant to give back to the fans. I thought I’d use it for something during that.
Producer: Have you decided what you’re going to do for that?
Akira: There a few tiny things that I haven’t made up my mind about yet, but I know what I want to do.
Akira: I was wondering if I’d be able to combine a song and a little drama of sorts for the show. Something like a musical.
Producer: A musical? I don’t think anyone’s ever done that before. That’s a great idea, considering how little time you’ve had to think about what to do.
Akira: I imagine that Seiya would be the one to sing, and Kanata could dance for everyone, right?

Akira: But since I know what their specialties are, trying to find something else that doesn’t just mimic what they’re doing is… surprisingly difficult.
Akira: I actually asked Todoroki about it during our photoshoot earlier, and he gave me some great advice, which I wasn’t expecting.
Producer: …Todoroki-kun does get surprisingly serious when it comes to that sort of thing. I guess you could say that he’s soft on his junior.
Akira: I was a little taken aback, too. But he really did help me out a lot.
Akira: He suggested that my voice might work well with jazz.
Akira: He said that jazz would suit my stage persona, and that I could give a sultry monologue during the instrumental portion of the song. Act like I was speaking to my lover, I suppose.

Akira: And I thought that I’d like to try that. I want to try to bring the image of myself that Todoroki told me about to life.
Akira: But even so, although I know what I want to do, I still haven’t decided on a specific song or story.
Producer: …If that’s what you’re trying to do, then I think you’d probably be better off listening to some CDs to find a song, rather than sifting through a bunch of sheet music.
Producer: I feel like it would be more practical to listen to the music and read the lyrics. You’re more likely to come up with an idea for your performance that way.
Akira: …Okay then. Will you look for a song that “fits my image” with me?
Producer: Of course. I’d be glad to.
Producer: Hmm, let’s see… I think that something sung by a woman would be best for you.
Producer: I really like it when a man sings a woman’s feeling; it seems sexier, somehow. And besides, seeing a man that would sing like that to you…
Producer: Makes him seem like a pretty terrible kind of guy.
Producer: You know, someone so charming that you can’t stop being attracted to them, even if you know that falling harder for them would be pointless.
Producer: That sounds just like you, doesn’t it?
Akira: Ahaha, can I take that as a compliment? I suppose that if you’ve got such high expectations of me, then I’ve got no choice but to do it.
