Producer: You know, Chaoyang-kun, when you go through books you read out loud. It that a habit of yours?
Chaoyang: “A habit”, well… If it’s in Chinese, then I don’t need to read out loud. It’s only because this book is in Japanese.
Chaoyang: If I read out loud, then I understand the words more easily, so I read rather slowly.
Producer: …I see. That makes sense. Japanese is a foreign language to you, after all.
Producer: But, your voice is really lovely, Chaoyang-kun. I ended up listening to it unintentionally.
Chaoyang: Eh….? My voice is… lovely…? That’s the first time I’ve ever been told something like that…
Producer: Really? I’ve always thought that, though. Like, “Wow, what a pretty voice he has”.

Chaoyang: If that’s all right… Then, since we volunteered to do a marching band performance during the next school break, would you mind waiting for me after that?
Chaoyang: I would really like it if you came to see us.
Producer: Yeah! I’ll absolutely come. I heard that you were really giving it your all during practice. It’ll be the first time that I’ve seen a real marching band, so I’m looking forward to it.
Chaoyang: Then, I’ll have to be sure to try even harder during practice…
