Nihon Danji Event Story 5 (1)
Seiya: Tsubaki-san, thank you very much for teaching me how to be a Japanese man today!
Tsubaki: I'm sorry for falling asleep midway, though. Next time I'll teach you better.
Seiya: EH?! Really?! When is next time? When will you teach me?!
Tsubaki: H- Hey, hey!... Good grief, did I talk too much?
Seiya: Hehe! I respect the phrase "A warrior uses a toothpick even when he has not eaten" like you do!
Tsubaki: "Like a lord"!
Seiya: Eh?
Tsubaki: Listen. The "Like a lord" part holds the meaning of "vanity".
Tsubaki: Vanity can have both a good and bad meaning. The meaning to that depends on how you view vanity.
Tsubaki: Seiya! Show your charm to everyone just like this cherry tree blooming beautifully! Honorable men have to show off at all costs!
Nihon Danji Event Story 5 (2)
Tsubaki: Yumeyume wasureruna[1]
Seiya: Y- Yumeyume? If you say so then I'll work hard! When I go home I'll look up the meaning of yumeyume!
Tsubaki: Haha! Maybe it was still too early for you.
Tsubaki: See you next time, Seiya. Did you have fun today?
Kanna: Bye bye, Seiya!
Seiya: I had! Bye bye!
Tsubaki: Ah, right. Are you free tomorrow night?
Seiya: I'm always free at night.
Tsubaki: I see. I'll tell Toya to contact you later. You have to go to the place he tells you.
Seiya: Eeeh?! I want to talk to you via LIME!
Tsubaki: Raimu? Y- Yeah, Raimu... Yes.
Tsubaki: (... I'll ask Toya about it later.)
Tsubaki: Next time I'll show you how an adult Japanese man is.
Seiya: An adult Japanese man?
*******
Nihon Danji Event Story 5 (3)
Tsubaki: How is it? This is an adult Japanese man.
Seiya: Tsu- Tsu- Tsu- Tsu- Tsubaki-san!! You look so cool!!
Tsubaki: Yeah! Compliment me more!
Seiya: You look very young with your hair down!
Nihon Danji Event Story 5 (4)
Tsubaki: Are you making fun of me?
Seiya: N- No, I'm not! You look younger than usual, which should make you happy!
Tsubaki: .... Are you implying that I look old?
Seiya: No no no no~!!
Nihon Danji Event Story 5 (5)
Yoshitsugu: Tsk. I was glad to get a new job but I have to make Tsubaki look better. This pisses me off...
Seiya: What are you saying, Yoshitsugu?! I'm so envious that you're able to do a job with Tsubaki-san!
Yoshitsugu: Hmph. Let's change places then.
Toya: There, there, that's not good, Yoshitsugu-kun.
Yoshitsugu: Tsk... This is annoying so I'll end it here...
Nihon Danji Event Story 5 (6)
Toya: Good grief... I should brew him some warm tea later.
Seiya: Don't you have a photoshoot too?
Toya: No, today's photoshoot is only for Tsubaki. I am just escorting him as his attendant.
Toya: Leaving that aside.... Fufu.
Seiya: Why are you smiling?
Toya: No, just... Maybe it's because you came to look. He seems more motivated than usual today.
Seiya: Are you talking about Tsubaki-san?
Toya: Yes. See, Tsubaki is looking here.
Tsubaki: Seiya, come here!
Nihon Danji Event Story 5 (7)
Tsubaki: Come on. Sit by my side and drink.
Seiya: Hey, Tsubaki-san! Are you still drinking sake?! And in the first place I'm underage so--
Tsubaki: Idiot. Do I look like I would drink in the middle of a photoshoot?! This is just water.
Seiya: Eh? Is that so... Then I'll drink!
Tsubaki: Well, we're just acting as if we're drinking sake, but doesn't drinking while looking at the cherry tree lightened by the moonlight feel different from the scenery that we saw at noon?
Seiya: Yes... It's a different scenery.
Tsubaki: ... Somehow, drinking under the moonlight feels like we're doing something forbidden.
Seiya: Is this what an adult Japanese man is?
Tsubaki: .... In my opinion.
Nihon Danji Event Story 5 (8)
Tsubaki: The moon is mysterious, isn't it? It has this charm that makes you feel as if you'll get absorbed when looking.
Tsubaki: When you look at the moon's reflection in this plate of water it feels like you have the whole world in your hand.
Seiya: Even though it's just water?
Tsubaki: Kuku! This is just water for now, but in three years it will turn into real sake for you.
Tsubaki: Until then you'll have to fight to conquer the world!
Seiya: ! Tsubaki-san! I'll definitely become a real idol and conquer the world! I won't lose to you!
Seiya: Ehmm... That!
Seiya: Yumeyume wasureruna!
Nihon Danji Event Story 5 (9)
Tsubaki: ! Yes. That's my junior.
Tsubaki: (Is it a sin to want these days to continue forever?)
Tsubaki: (However, if you're not able to keep up with changes, nothing you do will be good...)
Tsubaki: (I will continue to walk the path that I believe in. And then, fulfill the promise.)
Tsubaki: (I have juniors following after me.)
Tsubaki: Aah... The moon is beautiful.

Notes[]

  1. An old way of talking which was used in the Heian period. Yumeyume used to mean "At all costs" or "Absolutely" while wasureruna is "Don't forget". So Tsubaki is telling Seiya to never forget what he learned.
